Shawn primarily gets involved on heavy industrial, agricultural and specialty structural engineering. He has extensive experience in the design of all facets of steel and reinforced concrete industrial and agricultural structures including flour mills, feed mills, food plants, ethanol plants, biodiesel plants, concrete silos, bins, hoppers, tanks, HRSGs, boilers, stacks, and cogeneration plants as well as freezer-cooler structures and numerous other miscellaneous concrete and steel industrial type structures and facilities. Shawn’s expertise also includes failure analysis, forensic engineering, structural dynamics, vibration control, earthquake engineering, and design of structures against blast and explosions. He is a registered Professional Engineer in 32 states including California, Illinois (S.E.) and New York.
