Specialty structures, equipment, and thought about the design are required for highly corrosive material like salt. VAA is experienced in wood design and steel structures that contain no ledges for material to collect. We designed the wood support structure, mechanical design of the conveyors and layout of the fill and reclaim systems on this particular project. Working with contractors and vendors, we completed the entire specific owner requested pieces. With salt not allowed to free flow off the site, drainage and site grading became critical. Storm water had to be collected and treated before releasing.
