VAA understands that special consideration needs to be taken when handling sand due to its abrasive properties. We have experience with conveying and processing many types of abrasive and corrosive materials, especially fractionated "frac" sand. Our knowledge of equipment and processes prepares us to design sites and structures for these material handling processes.

At VAA we have the ability to layout material handling conveying systems up to 2000 tons/hr, including take ups, lining materials, guards and drives. Our designers work seamlessly with conveyor manufacturer/supplier(s) to ensure that all components are correct and meet CEMA specifications. We also have extensive familiarity with safety standards such as MSHA, NFPA and OSHA.
