The original courthouse, built in 1875, was remodeled to include an enlarged courtroom and offices. A two-story steel framed addition was added to provide additional courtrooms, offices and law enforcement spaces. Accessibility was enhanced with new elevators and ramps. The sloped roof structure was constructed with prefabricated light-gauge steel framing.
